Mrs. Hao Yuping, Deputy Managing Director of Cabin Services accepted the prize on behalf of Air China. In this public appraisal program, Air China stood out from 168 well-known multinational and domestic enterprises and was recognized by nearly one hundred judges. This prize proves that Air China's corporate competitiveness and brand influence have gained universal acceptance by the public. A positive corporate image, which highlights responsibility in promoting sustainable economic development and creating social benefits, has been well established. In 2006, guided by the service value of “Trust, Convenience, Comfort and Satisfaction", Air China devoted great efforts to enhancing service quality. Air China focused on both serious claims and minor issues and actively responded to both. The number of claims that came from the top-down channel dropped by 36.85%. Air China's flight punctuality rate was 81.25%, one of two Chinese airlines who improved this index in 2006. Continuous efforts have been devoted to developing new premier class products, enriching in-flight supplies, developing on-board entertainment systems and creating a more comfortable cabin environment. Air China's Olympic theme-colored aircrafts are flying to promote the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Air China's endeavor in pursuing superior service won the recognition of the traveling public, and has made Air China a universally accepted brand. The “Best Corporate Image Prize" is the only public appraisal program that includes the public, academic institutions, media and communication companies in its evaluation process. The program invites chief editors in the media, specialists in corporate administration and consumer relations to be the judges. Enterprises that join this program are evaluated in four areas including brand recognition, emergency management, consumer relation and social responsibility. The prize is awarded to 20 enterprises . |
